The Catalina Classic Paddleboard Race is the most historical paddleboard race in the world. It was formally established in 1955 by Los Angeles County Lifeguard Bob Hogan and almost 69 years later we are intent on growing the event, while simultaneously ensuring its rich history remains intact through further community engagement, competitive by-laws, and an elevated athlete experience.
